Merry Christmas!

Just thought I'd share a little holiday cheer, and show you the wonderful Christmas Tree we were able to fit in our apartment. Hope everyone's enjoying the holiday season. Julie & I will be spending Christmas around Denver (assuming we can drive through the mountains), and then back in Junction for New Years. And (hopefully) shortly there after we'll be moving into a new house (well, new to us) in January. But we'll keep you posted on that.

Guys that tree simply rocks!

It definitely beats my non-existing tree this year. Even though there is nothing better than the smell of a real christmas tree ... with all the travel I wouldn't be home to enjoy it. :(

You have me curious though. how is it actually hanging...I am sure the lights aren't too light? haha

so is it ski season at the hober's yet? :)

Happy Holidays!

You're right about the tree smell...which is where the pine scented candle comes in!

The tree is just posterboard (actually 4 posterboards) with a cardboard "hook" so it hangs on the framed picture that was on the wall behind it.

There's definitely snow on the hills now, but with our house hunting/moving and all, I don't think we'll hit the slops until late Jan/Feb. But we already got tickets for Telluride, Crested Butte, and A-basin. Can't wait!

Does the Traveling Bonbon have any ski plans lined up for this year?

I love that you guys came up with the idea :)

Where are you guys looking for the house? Same town that you are in now or are you venturing out somewhere new? Hopefully you guys are benefiting with the market and rates being down like they are back east.

I just got back into town tonight, but if I were here all weekend I would have def. been hitting the slopes this weekend. We just got dumped on on Wednesday, Friday, and tomorrow another storm is rolling in. Unfortunately I won't get to take advantage this time. Jan 3rd I head back to Holland for the month so the boarding will have to wait until I get back in February when Lano rolls into town. Any chance you will be back in the area in Feb. to join in the fun?
